Building Use Policy
Our goal is that the use of our facilities will be a witness to Christ’s redemptive work in the world.
The sanctuary shall be used for acts of corporate worship, including weddings and funerals, and for community enrichment deemed appropriate by the pastor as an extension of this church’s ministry.
The fellowship hall and kitchen shall be used by members and constituents – individuals or families showing a preference for the Dimondale United Methodist Church, by their attendance or contributions – or by approved individuals or groups.
In support of the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church, the use of alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs as well as participation in gambling is prohibited on the church premises.

Costs associated with building use are as follows:
SANCTUARY
Active Members and Constituents or their immediate family – No Charge
All Others – $150
FELLOWSHIP HALL/KITCHEN
Active Members and Constituents or their immediate family – No Charge
All Others – $75
A DEPOSIT OF $50 FOR USE OF THE SANCTUARY MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF COMMITMENT.
BALANCE DUE BEFORE THE EVENT.
CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RESERVED DATE ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
